ABOUT US

We are Nima and Negin Anvar, the moderators of the Bahá'í Parenting Forums. We are pioneers living in Grenada. We have a nine-year-old daughter, Roya and an eight-year-old son, Bayan. We are both extremely interested in parenting issues. We began reading as much as we could long before our first child was even conceived. We have some experience with children and youth here in Grenada. Every summer we attend a Bahá'í summer school, where we teach junior youth classes. Nima was coordinator of the San Diego Bahá'í Youth Workshop in California for three years before coming to Grenada. We both have Master's degrees in Public Health, although Nima now works in the hotel industry and Negin is a stay-at-home mother. What matters most to us is our Faith and family. We recognize the challenges of raising Bahá'í children in a non-Bahá'í society and want our children to have a strong value base.

The Bahá'í Parenting Forums are offered free of charge to interested parents everywhere (not just to Bahá'ís).
